2018 National Youth Leadership Training

What is National Youth Leadership Training? NYLT is an exciting. action-packed program designed for councils to provide all 13-20 year old youth members, of the Boy Scouts of America with leadership skills and experience they can use in their home units and in other situations demanding leadership of self and others. The NYLT course centers around the concepts of what a leader must BE, what he must KNOW, and what he must DO. The key elements are then taught with a clear focus on HOW TO. The skills come alive during the week as the patrol goes on a Quest for the Meaning of Leadership.
When: Week 2: June 11-16, 2018
Week 1 was cancelled
Cost: Early Bird Fee: $225.00 if paid in full by FEB 28, 2018
Regular Fee: $275.00 if paid in full by APRIL 18, 2018
Late Fee: $325.00 if paid after APRIL 18, 2018
Who May Attend: Must be a registered member of a Scouting Unit
Must have a current BSA Health and Medical Records form parts A, B, and C
Must be 13 years of age and fall within the maximum age allowance for their program registration
Must be a First Class Scout
Have a unit leader recommendation
Where: NYLT Area, Kimball Scout Reservation
