The first three Vietnamese Scouting National Conferences, BSA (1999, 2003 and 2011 respectively) was held at the Philmont Training Center, Cimarron, New Mexico. The 4th Vietnamese Scouting National Conference, BSA was held in Las Vegas, Nevada in February 2020 with a record number in attendance.
With the success of the 4th Vietnamese Scouting National Conference in 2020 and popular request from the conference participants, we are returning to the Las Vegas Area Council BSA office/property, 7220 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, Nevada 89119 for the 5th Vietnamese Scouting National Conference in March 2023.
You (Unit leaders, Liên Đoàn Trưởng/Phó, interested parents’, supporters, and National Committee members) are cordially invited to join this conference for a weekend of fun, fellowship. The conference will include the discussion on how to preserve the Scouting traditions and Vietnamese heritage. Sharing of resources from the BSA and the Girl Scouts of the U.S.A. High adventure and scholarship opportunities and planning for the future of Vietnamese Scouting in the U.S.A.
There will also be a Wood Badge Reunion, and ALL past and present participants are invited to attend our Wood Badge Reunion on Saturday, March 4th, from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.

The conference objectives:
Develop a comprehensive Vietnamese Scouting program in the U.S.A.
Identify Vietnamese American population in the U.S. to start new units/Liên Đoàn.
Utilization of BSA facilities and resources: The Summit, Philmont, Florida National High Adventure Sea Base; Northern Tier and scholarship.
Plan, develop leadership training and program/activities:

Participants who previously registered for the conference do not need to register. Your registration is confirmed for the conference

The cost is $100.00 per person conference fee covers:
Meals - 3 breakfast, 2 lunches, 1 dinner, snacks: $69

Materials & Camping Fee - $13
Travel and lodging are not included. All attendees are responsible for their own travel and lodging accommodations. For your convenience provided below are several lodging information. You should plan to be at the Las Vegas Area Council BSA office no later than 10:00 p.m. on Thursday March 2, 2023, and if flying, you should schedule your return flight for any time after the closing (1:00pm) on Sunday March 5, 2023.

What to Bring
Pack for a 4-day weekend camping trip. Comfortable clothing (uniforms are required) a good attitude, and lots of great ideas! Dress code for the conference is BSA Field uniform and activities uniform.
National Vietnamese Scouting Committee is not liable for any misplaced, stolen, or damaged valuables or belongings. Therefore, we suggest you have the option (s) to safekeep your items during your stay at the lodging facility.
