Article Summary - Camping in the Las Vegas Area Council provides opportunities for camping year round. Camps are in Nevada, Arizona, and Utah. Our Camps are great for a weekend camporee in the Spring or Fall, or a week long High Adventure in the Summer. 2015 Pathfinder Camp

This program is geared toward the 1st year Boy Scout.

Session 1 June 10-11, 2015, Wednesday - Thursday

Session 2 June 12-13, 2015 Friday - Saturday

Cost is $25 per youth or adult before May 29, 2015 and $35 per youth or adult after May 29th. No refunds will be made within twoo weeks prior to your scheduled arrival date.  This includes NO-Shows and scouts who leave early.

Spencer W. Kimball Scout Reservation Kimball Scout Reservation is located at the base of Potosi Mountain about 35 minutes south west of Las Vegas.

Merit Badge Sign ups are part of registration.  If you have a new reservation, once you enter your youth names, and have your camp paid in full, you will have access to the merit badges. 

 

     Kimball offers an opportunity for lone scouts (in other words without their unit) to attend camp.  The camp provides adult leadership.  Please sign up using the Provisional application or select Provisional Scout from the online registration.

Family Camp  June 28th - June 30th, 2015  The cost is $60 per person if signed up before June 1st, 2015 and $75 per person. $20 non-refundable Deposit per person will hold your spot!  Children 4 and under are free when accommanied by an adult. 

 

2015 Webelos Resident Camp

July 1st - 3rd
Wednesday - Friday

Before June 1st, the cost is $100 for a youth and $75 for an adult.  There is a non-refundable deposit of $50 per youth and $25 per Adult.   One adult is required for every three youth.  

After June 1st, the cost is $115 per youth and $85 per Adult

Located in the pines and aspens above Kolob Reservoir and Zion National Park.

 You have two Payment options for Del Webb .  

For Base Camp or Traditional Camp

If the unit provides their own food, the fees will be $175 per Youth and $20 per Adult

If food is provided for your unit, the cost is $245 per youth and $80 per adult.

For the Adventure Base 

If the unit provides their own food, the fees will be $225 per Youth and $105 per Adult

If food is provided for your unit, the cost is $295 per youth and $175 per adult.

  High Adventure Team
Provides training for unit leaders in skills required to lead youth on exciting high adventure activities, including backpacking, hiking, rapelling, skiing, white waerrafting, and mountain biking.

The BSA supports three National High Adventure Bases:

  Northern Tier National High Adventure Bases - Minnesota
  Florida National High Adventure Sea Base
